Organizzazioni del terzo settore
2021
When referring to migrants, the collective representation sees them as recipients of services offered by the third sector and not, in the first instance, as actors actively engaged in associative processes. Addressing the issue of the relationship between migrants and the third sector implies, therefore, proposing a change of perspective that leads to think of migrants (also this rather wide category) not as direct beneficiaries, as victims in need, but as protagonists actively engaged in the institutions or as collaborators, experts, employees, therefore paid, or as volunteers, free of charge.

Therefore, studying this phenomenon and its determinants is necessary to provide helpful information to support socio-economic policies. Thus, this paper aims at integrating two big databases about university students in Italy: the first one is provided by the Ministry of University and Research, concerning the university careers of student cohorts; the second one is provided by the AlmaLaurea consortium, concerning the university experiences of graduates and their success in the labour market. Both databases contain socio-demographic information that complements each other. The proposed meth…
Liberalizing Industrial Relations in Southern-Europe: Towards the End of a Coordinated and Egalitarian Model
2016
The paper focuses on the changes that occurred to the architecture of industrial relations in Southern-European countries during the last decade. In particular, the bargaining systems of Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Portugal are compared, with a particular attention to the legislative measures enacted under the influence of international institutions after the 2008 financial and sovereign debt crisis. The theoretical framework, under which the process of transformation is analysed, is the literature on comparative politics as recently reviewed by Thelen. At the same time, the work takes into account the labour law dogmatic category of "inderogability", represented by the couple law-bran…
